ABOUT ME
Guiding You On Your Healing Path
I'm Suzanne. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified yoga instructor.. My background as a performing artist and in the world of corporate finance has greatly informed my practice, as well as my training with Columbia University School of Social Work in the City of New York and years of client work in community mental health centers. Clients who work with me are seeking a collaborative effort for wellness. They are open to holistic approaches and a healthful path. You may be dealing with Anxiety or Depression, Grief / Bereavement or Life Transitions ( job related / relational / fertility / LGBTQQIA + / men's & women's issues / aging / life-stage crises ).
You may also be dealing with recovery from experiences of Trauma and PTSD.
Most clients I meet are working to find peace & purpose in life. I hope to help you in holding empathic space, and in evaluating and processing internal and external barriers which may prevent you from actualizing authentic-self potential.
As an Integrative Practioner, I draw from multiple modalities in my work. I collaborate with clients using psychodynamic and somatic principals. Also, I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and trauma-informed therapies including: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for recovery from PTSD. The best way for us to determine if our work together may be a fit, is to get in touch. Feel free to send me a note via email, or schedule time for us to speak. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
